One thing that I wish games would implement more when creating a character is to be able to zoom in on the eyes when you are customizing them. The Ryders are Explorers aboard the Ark Hyperion, there to support the Pathfinder, each species’ representative for any contact with new alien lifeforms. If Shepherd failed, then civilization would still survive. The Andromeda Initiative was Plan B, putting members of each of the sentient races of the Milky Way onto Arks and sending them on a six hundred year, one-way trip to the nearest habitable galaxy. Commander Shepherd and his allies were the last line of defense. In the original trilogy, the Milky Way galaxy was under the assault of the Reapers, who were there to wipe out all life to restore balance to the universe.
